Kings of vaudeville Willie Clark and Al Lewis aka The Sunshine Boys haven't spoken to each other in years.

It's 1972 in New York, and CBS invite the comedy duo to be re-united for a nostalgic History of Comedy TV-special. Past grudges resurface and tempers flare as they are forced to take centre stage one last time.
