  • Formed in 1976, their jazz repertoire includes music by Count Basie, Glenn Miller, Woody Herman, Duke Ellington and Buddy Rich (amongst many).

    The orchestra has gained many awards, including various individual musician awards as well as Senior Section Winners 2000 in the BBC Big Band Competition.
