Dave Angel

London-born jazz-influenced techno DJ and producer (and brother of rapper, Monie Love) whose key period was the mid to late 90s, with much of his own music and remixes appearing on R&S (and latterly Island).

Key releases include the compilation of early 12" ("Classics") and second album ("Globetrotting").

He ran into controversy with Annie Lennox over the use of "Sweet Dreams Are Made Of This" on a drum n bass bootleg called "Nightmare Mix" - it was eventually given consent.

More recently, he has dabbled in drum n bass productions as well as continuing with looped-techno work.
