Bettie Serveert

Indie-rock band from Holland formed in 1990.

Key members include Carol van Dyk, Peter Visser, Gino Geudens, Herman Bunskoeke and Martijn Blankestijn.

Their 1992 album 'Palomine', released on the 4AD offshoot 90s label Guernica, gave the band considerable press coverage and eager reviews. The song "Tomboy" featured on John Peel's show quite often.

Their sound is not unlike PJ Harvey or Throwing Muses.
