[1951 - 2021] Sylvain Sylvain was an American rock guitarist and songwriter from New York (although born in Egypt).

He was a member of New York Dolls but also played solo gigs and toured with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

He released his debut album, "Sylvain Sylvain" in 1979, followed by: "Sleep Baby Doll" in 1998.
