An opera (unfinished) written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in 1780.

It is an unusual opera in that it features comic and serious passages as well as spoken-word dialogue.

The story concerns Zaide falling in love with a slave, much to the annoyance of 'The Sultan' (who also loves her).
