Californian progressive-rock/post-hardcore band formed in 2005 after the split of the two bands Farewell Unknown and Ghost Runner on Third.
The band features founder members: Jon Mess - unclean vocals, Matt Mingus - drums, and Will Swan - lead guitar/ backing vocals, plus Andrew Wells - rhythm guitar/ clean vocals.
They released their debut album, "Downtown Battle Mountain" in 2007, followed by: "Dance Gavin Dance" (2008), "Happiness" (2009), "Downtown Battle Mountain II" (2011), "Acceptance Speech" (2013), "Instant Gratification" (2015), "Mothership" (2016), "Artificial Selection" (2018), "Afterburner" (2020), "Jackpot Juicer" (2022), plus 2025's: "Pantheon".
Long-term bass player, Tim Feerick passed away in 2022.
