London-based/Irish punk-folk band formed in 1982 and reunited in 2001.

Key members have included the late Shane McGowan - vocals and guitar, Spider Stacy - vocals and tin whistle, Jem Finer - banjo, Andrew Ranken - drums, James Fearnley - accordion and mandolin, Philip Chevron - guitar, Darryl Hunt - bass, Terry Woods - mandolin, cittern and concertina.

Their catalogue includes perennial Christmas favourite "Fairytale of New York" (w/Kirsty MacColl), "Irish Rover", "Fiesta" and the albums "Red Roses for Me", "Rum Sodomy & the Lash", "If I Should Fall from Grace with God" and "Waiting For Herb".
