Gifted pianist Robert Mitchell (BBC Jazz Innovation Award 2004) presents his new group 3i0. Alongside bass player Tom Mason and drummer Richard Spaven he has quietly developed a real signature in the piano trio format, honing a mix of influences including song, freeform jazz, hip-hop, folk, electronica and rock.
