Stage adaptation of the 1973 novel by Nina Bawden. The store centres around the experiences of a girl called Carrie Willow and her brother Nick, evacuated from London to Wales during World War II.

The 2009 London production will feature Prunella Scales (Fawlty Towers) as Mrs Gotobed.
