RKC (formerly known as Roses Kings Castles) was started in 2007 by former Babyshambles drummer and song-writer Adam Ficek.

The band's debut eponymous album was released in 2008, followed by 'Suburban Timebomb' in 2010 and 'British plastic' in 2011.
