[1943 - 2024] David Soul was a UK-based American-born actor and singer best known for his role as "Hutch" from Starsky and Hutch in the 70s.

His singing career included the hits 'Don't Give Up on Us' and 'Silver Lady'.

He released his debut album, "David Soul" in 1976, followed by: "Playing to an Audience of One" (1977), "Band of Friends" (1979), "The Best Days of My Life" (1982), plus 1997's: "Leave a Light On...".
