A five-piece hard core metal band from South Africa with a unique style and diversity in their music. All the music is original material and the lyrics written by the vocalist Michael Cronje. Other members include Shaun Pearson (guitars), Eben Pepler (drums / backup vocals), Shawn Greyling (bass) and Schalk Basson (guitars).

"Coming from South Africa, any Metal outfit, knows it's going to be that extra little bit tougher. With their homeland not being quite ready for the full force of Barely Breathing, the band embark onto European and more precisely UK soil to trade their wares. Having recorded their debut release, the band release this now worldwide through UK based Casket Music. Mixing the very best of modern melodic metal with hardcore and thrash elements, all with unbelievable maturity for a band, who do not posses any member older than 19 years of age.
