Judy Collins

American folk-roots singer (soprano)/ songwriter whose early work in the 60s was centred around traditional folk songs.

Her breakthrough album was 1967's "Wildflowers" which spawned a hit in "Both Sides Now" (written by Joni Mitchell). Other key songs include "Amazing Grace", Send In the Clowns" and "My Father" (the latter covered by This Mortal Coil and also converted to book form for children).
