American rock band, formed in Athens, Georgia in 1976.
The band is currently comprised of Fred Schneider - vocals, Kate Pierson - vocals, Cindy Wilson - vocals and non-touring guitarist Keith Strickland.
Since 1979, the band have released singles such as "Rock Lobster", "Give Me Back My Man", "Love Shack", "Dirty Back Road", "Planet Claire" and "Roam", plus albums such as their eponymous debut, "Red Planet" and "Cosmic Thing".
