"British band Radio Stars, who disappeared in a mysterious boating incident in 1979, turned themselves over to Interpol last weekend. They claimed to have no recollection of having broken up over forty years ago, nor did they recall telling their drummer that they were dead even though they were actually living in the rehearsal room next door and hiding every time he turned up to rehearsal."

The band reformed once more in 2017 for a special "retirement gig", featuring original members Martin Gordon on bass, Andy Ellison - vocals and Ian Macleod on guitar.
