Sparta are an American alternative rock/ punk band, formed in 2001 and featuring founder members, Jim Ward - vocals/ rhythm guitar/ keyboards, plus Matt Miller - bass/ backing vocals. Ward is also a member of At The Drive-In.

They released their debut album, "Wiretap Scars" in 2002, followed by: "Porcelain" (2004), "Threes" (2006), "Trust the River" (2020), plus 2022's: "Sparta".
