As I Lay Dying are an American metalcore band featuring founder members, Tim Lambesis - vocals and Jordan Mancino - drums, plus Phil Sgrosso - guitar and Josh Gilbert - bass/ clean vocals.

They released their debut album, "Beneath the Encasing of Ashes" in 2001, followed by: "Frail Words Collapse" (2003), "Shadows Are Security" (2005), "An Ocean Between Us" (2007), "The Powerless Rise" (2010), "Awakened" (2012), plus 2019's: "Shaped by Fire".
