US post-grunge band founded by singer Scott Stapp and guitarist Mark Tremonti in 1994.

They released their debut album, "My Own Prison" in 1997, followed by: "Human Clay" (1999), "Weathered" (2001), plus 2009's: "Full Circle".

The band split in 2004 when Mark Tremonti, bass player Brian Marshall and drummer Scott Phillips formed Alter Bridge, reforming in 2009, with Scott Stapp, Mark Tremonti, Scott Phillips and Brian Marshall.

As of 2013, the band are on hiatus.
