Rock-pop band from Glasgow, originally formed in 1986 and fronted by singer Sharleen Spiteri.

Other members include Tony McGovern - vocals and guitar, Ally McErlaine - guitar, Johnny McElhone - bass, Eddie Campbell - keyboards, Neil Payne - drums and Michael Bannister - keyboards.

Although the band issued their debut-album "Southside" in 1989, the band's key era was the '90s, with the albums "White On Blonde" and "The Hush".

Key songs from across their career include "I Don't Want A Lover", "Say What You Want", "Black Eyed Boy", "Halo", "Put Your Arms Around Me", "Summer Son" and "Sleep".

They issued their first album in 8 years in 2013 entitled "The Conversation", followed by 2017's: "Jump On Board".
