  • Bob James is a renowned, multi award-winning American keyboard player, composer, arranger and producer.

    A key player in the jazz fusion scene since the '70s, Bob has seen success both in his own right, as a session player and as a member of Fourplay.

    Many of his compositions have been sampled/ remixed/ re-worked by acts Nu Yorican Soul, Eric B. & Rakim's, Run-D.M.C, LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Missie Elliott, Wu-Tang Clan and many more.

    He released his debut album, "Bold Conceptions" in 1963, followed by: "Explosions" (1964), "One" (1974), "Two" (1975), "Three" (1976), "Heads" (1977), "BJ4" (1977), "Touchdown" (1978), "Lucky Seven" (1979), "H" (1980), "Sign of the Times" (1981), "Hands Down" (1982), "The Genie" (1983), "Foxie" (1983), "12" (1984), "Rameau" (1984), "The Swan" (1984), "Obsession" (1986), "Ivory Coast" (1988), "The Scarlatti Dialogues" (1988), "J.
