One of the most influential and flamboyant rock acts will return to touring in 2022.
Armed with an impressive back catalogue dating back to the mid-'80s, Red Hot Chili Peppers have confirmed a world-tour that takes in a few stops this side of the channel as well as European and Stateside dates either side of the UK and Ireland.
Billed as a reunion tour and buoyed by the rejoining of mainstay guitarist John Frusciante, RHCP will perform arena-sized summer shows in Manchester (supported by A$AP Rocky and Thundercat), London, Dublin and Glasgow (all supported by Anderson .Paak and Thundercat).
The support acts should ensure mutual interest from across the generations with Thundercat being something of an inspired fit, given RHCP's heavy funk leanings. Who can forget the full-on bass-heavy charge on Blood Sugar Sex Magick and Mother's Milk?
As well as the early material, stadium-sized singalong anthems such as Aeroplane, Love Rollercoaster, By The Way and Californication have ensured the Chili Pepper's place in history - you're bound to hear them throughout the shows.
