Perhaps one of alternative rock's most influential bands will reconvene for a short rare UK and Ireland tour in 2022, celebrating the 30th anniversary of debut album

"Slanted and Enchanted" (1992), as well as potentially performing classics from "Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain" (1994), "Wowee Zowee" (1995), "Brighten the Corners" (1997) and "Terror Twilight" (1999).

The band officially split in 1999 after their fifth LP but have occasionally ventured out of retirement for Pavement shows (2010) and various solo projects, including Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks. No new material has been announced this time around (yet) but there's enough songs to fill two glorious hours. And several venues.

The October/November 2022 tour includes dates in Leeds, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Manchester, two in Dublin (one is already pretty much sold out) and FOUR London shows at the iconic Roundhouse venue.

Tickets for the UK dates are on sale from now and are sure to shift very quickly.
