Never one to stay (ahem) silent all these years, songwriter Tori Amos returns to the fore with a European tour, a new reissue of her 1994 album Under The Pink and an all-new autobiography called Resistance.
Billed as "a timely and passionate call to action for engaging with our current political moment, from the Grammy-nominated and multiplatinum singer-songwriter and New York Times bestselling author Tori Amos...", Resistance is "filled with compassionate guidance and actionable advice, using some of the most powerful, political songs in Amos's canon..". As always, Amos continues to support those marginalized by the financially and globally powerful and mighty and this book is another call to arms.
You can bet that the book will be the basis for the musical setlist for her newly-announced tour which is set to take place in selected UK and Ireland cities in March 2022. Tickets are on sale from Friday 16th July, priced from £40 upwards.
Meanwhile, the aforementioned Resistance book is due to be published in October 2021 and can be ordered via the official Tori Amos website shop.
