The timeless musical has Summer Sale seats available until [29/08/2013]

Written by James Kirkwood Jr and Nicholas Dante, with a score by Marvin Hamlisch and lyrics from Edward Kleban, A Chorus Line plays out a long audition session with director Zach and choreographer Larry putting the dancers through their paces as the numbers are gradually whittled down via heartbreak, revelation and injury amid the very human stories of sexuality, love, loss and sacrifice.

Set against a memorable score, A Chorus Line represents something of a perfect storm in terms of musical and dance theatre; the ideal setting for in-your-face dance routines, true to life drama and much singing.

Informed by true stories of Broadway wannabes, A Chorus Line went on to become the longest running show in Broadway history (now surpassed) and was also the subject of a Richard Attenborough-directed Hollywood adaptation starring Michael Douglas (as Zach). Despite three Academy Award nominations, A Chorus Line, the film, was a bit of a turkey, not making its money back.

But the theatre is a different proposition. On the stage, A Chorus Line comes alive - it's Broadway in 3D. If you need proof then get yourself down to the London Palladium, but not before taking advantage of some discounted seats.
