Lissie

Have a good look through your albums and download library - have a good look. There's a pretty good chance that Lissie is hiding in there somewhere because the husky singer has dabbled with more collaborators than you might think. Band Of Horses, Robbie Williams, Snow Patrol, Ed Harcourt, Lenny Kravitz and even dance supremo Deadmau5 have all been moved enough to co-write, produce and remix the lady's work, or at least utilize her voice to their own ends.

And it is quite a voice. Think Stevie Nicks, Taylor Swift or Thea Gilmore in a downwind and you're someway there. Her first album "Catching a Tiger" earned her a Top 20 placing with the follow-up, due in September, set to follow suit. "Back to Forever" features the strident single "Romance Police" and comes produced by renowned artist Jacknife Lee (who coincidentally has steered Swift to her own creative goals in the past).

To promote the album further, Lissie will be touring the UK and Ireland in the autumn. Stops include Glasgow on 24th October, followed by Dublin, Manchester and London.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at around £13 - £16.

Festival-goers can catch Lissie perform at this year's V Festival on 17th and 18th August.
