The Week Ahead: Santana, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Latitude, Scouting for Girls, Jahmene Douglas and more

Posted: 10 years ago

Festivals dominate the week's events once again, with the mighty Latitude in Suffolk leading the pack, ably joined by Truck, Larmer Tree and Music on the Hill.

Tour-wise, Santana and axe-man Carlos Santana return to the UK for the first time in almost three years. The Mavericks - flushed with the success of their sell-out spring tour, they're back for a few more dates in July. Josh Ritter and the Royal City Band play dates in Ireland and England, with tickets sold out for the English dates. Yeah Yeah Yeahs returned with a new album this year and a one-off London date prior to their Latitude stint. It sold out in minutes, of course.

For shows and comedy you have the brand-new Levity Festival in Peterborough, which will feature Al Murray, Lee Nelson and many more, Sean Lock embarks on the first part of his 'Purple Van Man' tour from Sunday 21st July, Ireland's The Rubberbandits have a 12-date London residency and kids' show Disney Live! Mickey's Rockin' Road Show hits UK arenas from Monday 15th July.

All prices are exclusive of booking fees.
