Actors and music rarely go together like birds of a feather, but Tyler Hilton proves to be one of these exceptions.
Already with a part in the hit TV series One Tree Hill, Hilton also performed songs for the relevant soundtracks, some covers, some his own. His choice of covers included Ryan Adams and John Waite, a pointer to where Hilton's musical leanings lie, as well as being comparable to Elton John. His part as Elvis Presley in the Johnny Cash biopic I Walk the Line didn't do him any harm either.
Having played a more permanent role in One Tree Hill during its ninth season, Hilton then continued recording a teen-drama series entitled Secret Life of an American Teenager which, despite mixed reviews, helped Tyler's music profile no end. Recent album "Forget The Storm" first appeared in 2012 but has since been upgraded to a 'deluxe edition' featuring extra tracks.
With a revamped long-player under his arm, Tyler Hilton will be touring the album throughout 2013, with a handful of shows reserved for the UK, his first since last year's short headline tour and his support role on Boyce Avenue's jaunt. First stop will be Leeds on 22nd October, followed by Islington, Southsea and more until Nottingham on 1st November.
Tickets are on sale now, priced from around £16.50.
