Tours

The Stone Roses

Just when you thought that both Finsbury Park shows had completely sold out, along comes news of a final onsale. Support now includes Dizzee Rascal and The Courteeners (Friday) and PiL and Johnny Marr (Saturday). Limited extra tickets are on sale now at various prices.

Megadeth

One of the Big 4 metal acts and still a major force with Mustaine at the controls, Megadeth's upcoming UK tour is selling fast. Manchester has sold out, Glasgow is restricted to selected Balcony seats only and Newcastle and London still have face-value standing options available. From £27.50 upwards.

Tegan and Sara

There are still some tickets left for the Canadian siblings' forthcoming UK tour which begins in Manchester on Sunday night. This show has sold out but the remaining trio of dates in Glasgow, London and Birmingham are still on sale for £18 - £22.

Todd Rundgren

Billed as Todd Rundgren's State Visit, this UK tour will showcase the producer and musician's enormous repertoire from the past few decades. Tickets for the tour, which starts in Glasgow on 6th June, cost from £18.50 to £24.50 (in London).

Mudhoney

Special guests on the UK tour are Meat Puppets and METZ. Bizarrely, there are still tickets available for all upcoming shows, including Brighton on Tuesday night, Glasgow and Shepherd's Bush. Prices start at £16, rising to £18.50 for London.

Immortal Technique

Prior to supporting KRS-One on a couple of his summer dates, Immortal Technique will perform headline gigs in Dublin on 8th June (€22.90), Belfast on the 9th (£9) and Glasgow on the 11th (£17.50). You can also catch him perform at this year's Meltdown Festival 2013 in London on 16th June (still available at £20).

KRS-One

Celebrating 40 years of hip hop, the self-styled 'Teacha' returns to the UK for shows in June. The tour takes in Brighton (6th June), The Garage in Islington (7th and 8th), Leeds (12th - £14), Manchester (13th - £20 - with Immortal Technique) and he's also appearing in Bristol (featuring Pete Rock, Immortal Technique and Mystro) on 14th June - tickets cost £22

Festivals

RockNess 2013

The line-up includes headliners Plan B, Example, Basement Jaxx, plus Madness, The Vaccines, Bombay Bicycle Club, Ben Howard, Ellie Goulding, The Maccabees, Camera Obscura, The Temper Trap and special guest Fatboy Slim among the throng. 3-Day tickets cost £130/£139, while VIP weekends cost £200/ £209.

Mallorca Rocks 2013

Last call for this and its sister event, Ibiza Rocks 2013. This year's incredible and varied line-up includes shows from Beady Eye, Jake Bugg, Biffy Clyro, Bastille, Professor Green, Tinie Tempah, Franz Ferdinand, The Courteeners, Dizzee Rascal, Example and many more with Ibiza including Foals, Ellie Goulding (but not Beady Eye). Tickets are on sale at around £35 - £45 per show.

The Parklife Weekender 2013

Manchester's annual bash in Heaton Park includes Plan B (Saturday headliner), Example (Sunday headliner), Rita Ora, The Maccabees, The Horrors, Jessie Ware, Johnny Marr, KRS-One, Disclosure, The Temper Trap, Rudimental, Everything Everything and more across many stages. Day tickets cost £49.50, with weekend tickets a bargain at just £69.50.

Rutherford and Son

Tuesday marks the beginning of a West End run for Githa Sowerby's acclaimed observational play set in the North of England during the Edwardian era. St James Theatre will host the powerful drama about an industrial tyrant on the brink of mutiny and collapse from Tuesday until 29th June - priced from £37.50.

The Hip Hop Shakespeare Company

Bashy and Akala will team up to help present Richard II in a totally new way - with the power of the Bard and urban street rap. The tour will call at Birmingham, Newcastle and more throughout June. Akala is also performing an album launch show in Shoreditch on 3rd June. Tickets still available from £12. Note: this tour has now been rescheduled for October.

Mr B The Gentleman Rhymer

Armed with a banjo, pipe, tweeds, clipped accent and a more civilized take on the hip-hop genre (chap-hop), Mr B's shows are always hilarious and a riot. He is touring throughout the summer, including a Bristol show on Tuesday night, plus dates in July and August.
