Launched on ITV in 2006, Dancing on Ice has proven a popular formula, regularly hogging January TV audiences. Returning in January 2014, for the ninth - and final series, the show will once again be backed by a UK tour - as has been the custom since 2008, although 2013 was the first year not to have a tour.
The 2014 tour will be a bit special as, not only will it be the final tour, but it marks the 30th anniversary of Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean being awarded a gold medal for their performance of 'Bolero' in the 1984 Sarajevo Winter Olympics. The tour covers Manchester, London, Newcastle, Nottingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham and Leeds, with the weekend dates (Manchester, Newcastle, Glasgow, Birmingham and Leeds all benefiting from extra matinee shows. The celebrity skaters for the final TV series and tour are to be announced.
Tickets on sale now, priced from £32.50 to £65.50, with concessions and family tickets available.
