This year's BST 2013 knees-up in Hyde Park looks like being a runaway success, what with two massive sold out shows featuring The Rolling Stones and three other big concert events planned for July.
The latest huge names out of the hat will continue the celebrations as well as delight the whole family. JLS, The Beach Boys and, yes really, The Gruffalo will all feature as part of A Day In The Park, a music and theatre all-dayer aimed at all ages. It'll take place in Hyde Park on Sunday 7th July and will also feature The Saturdays, The Overtones, The Cuban Brothers, The Soul Rebels and '80s soul-pop icon Paul Young.
In addition on Sunday 14th July, soulful superstar Lionel Richie will be returning to the UK as headliner for the concluding Main Stage concert. The multi-platinum singer will no doubt perform his hits such as "Hello", "Dancing on the Ceiling" and many more, alongside other favourites.
Accompanying Richie will be glitzy pop diva and co-headliner Jennifer Lopez whose repertoire shaped our charts during the '90s and '00s. Joining 'Jenny on the block' will be Daft Punk's best mate Nile Rodgers with his legendary Chic line-up, plus Brit-poppers StooShe kicking things off. Other stages will feature Charlie Brown, Amplify Dot, Al Jarreau, Beverley Knight, Incognito and many more.
Tickets for both the JLS and Lionel days are on sale now, priced from £35 and £59.50 respectively.
These announcements follow the unveiling of Elton John as headliner for 12th July. He'll perform a stellar show with Ray Davies, Elvis Costello, Thea Gilmore and more. His tickets are on sale now, priced from £59.
As for the other shows? As mentioned above, The Rolling Stones have long sold out but you can still grab tickets to see Bon Jovi, Kaiser Chiefs, The Futureheads and many more on Friday 5th July - from £65, available now.
