Twenty years after scooping the coveted Perrier Comedy Award at the 1993 Edinburgh Festival, Lee Evans is still sweating profusely and still causing hilarity and uproar with his shows. The rib-tickling dynamo has soaked his way through dozens of suits over the decades and looks set to be renewing his acquaintance with his tailor very soon, that's if he can stand still long enough to get them fitted.
Lee Evans' next monstrous tour is called, well, "Monsters" and will take place in autumn 2014. Comprised of over 50 confirmed arena-sized shows, the likeable whirlwind will begin this highly-anticipated jaunt in Bournemouth for five nights (20th to 24th August), followed by multiple nights in Brighton, Nottingham, Sheffield and many more until calling at Cardiff's Motorpoint Arena from 27th to 30th November 2014.
There are some London shows included - two O2 Arena shows on 26th and 27th September and four at Wembley Arena from 19th to 22nd November.
Tickets are on pre-sale now, priced from around £30 upwards.
After his enormous sell-out "Roadrunner" tour of 2011, during which he again performed well over 50 shows across the UK, Evans earned himself a Channel 4 Award for his contribution to comedy - about time too. And as well as being a dead clever comic, Evans' acting career has been flourishing - he's set to appear in the Clive Exton comedy-caper "Barking In Essex" during this autumn. Tickets for the Wyndham's Theatre run from September 2013 until January 2014, are on sale now priced from £22.50 to £42.50.
