Back in March, chart-topping power-pop luminaries Paramore performed an intimate sold-out show at London's Garage. Not surprisingly, tickets ran out pretty quickly, leaving many fans pondering (and wondering) if their heroes would announce some festival slots to satiate demand. Curiously they haven't, apart from this year's Radio 1 Big Weekend in Londonderry in a couple of weeks.

Thankfully, they've gone one better - they've announced a UK and Ireland headline tour instead. To coincide with the release of the second single to be taken from their #1 self-titled album, the trio have earmarked September for some live action, starting with Dublin on the 2nd, followed by Manchester on 20th, then Cardiff, Birmingham, Nottingham and finally for now, Wembley Arena on 27th September.

Tickets are on sale now, priced from £27.50 for regional shows and £29.50 for London. Although these are large arena dates, demand will be huge with standing tickets sure to sell through sharpish.

That second single, out 20th May, is "Still Into You", a lively radio-playlisted portion of power-pop that boasts a memorable chorus. No doubt the song will help Paramore crossover to an audience which may have recently considered buying their critically-acclaimed new album, the follow-up to 2009's "Brand New Eyes" and a #1 in several countries.
