Chris Ramsey is The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television with 2014 UK tour

Lengthy jaunt will follow his successful Feeling Lucky shows, tickets on sale [18/4/2013 9:00]

He's been all over TV like a rash during the past twelve months, only funnier. South Shields boy-made-good Chris Ramsey represents the younger breed of comedians currently doing the rounds on both stage and small-screen - think Jack Whitehall, think Simon Amstell, but minus the scathing verbal putdowns.

Since presenting his first Edinburgh Fringe show back in 2010 (called "Aggrophobic"), Ramsey has appeared on Mock The Week and just about every panel-game show worth its salt, plus light-hearted family sitcom Hebburn alongside Vic Reeves.

But it's his solo headline shows that have been grabbing attention. His most recent, Feeling Lucky, is still running with a few shows still up for grabs - Braintree, Bloomsbury and Preston for example - but it's to 2014 Ramsey is headed for with his next show.

With a nod to his increasing flirtation with TV and surely some disappointment to those who might have nominated chef James Martin and his slabs of butter, Ramsey has proclaimed himself The Most Dangerous Man on Saturday Morning Television. Preview shows have already been released with most taking part from October 2013 onwards - York, Leeds etc still have tickets, for example.

It's later on and into next year that the full-length Dangerous Man tour kicks off in earnest with dates confirmed for Bristol on 22nd January 2014, followed by Stafford, Sheffield, Shrewsbury and many more until Newcastle on 21st March.

Tickets on sale now, priced from around £16.50.
