One of Britain's key players in the synth-rock scene during the past few decades will be out on the road later this year, promoting not just one album but two.

Gary Numan's forthcoming new studio album "Splinter" will be released sometime later this year, along with a clutch of new versions of tracks reworked from his 2011 set, "Dead Son Rising". That's plenty of material to unveil on a tour, we think.

It just so happens that Numan has confirmed a string of UK shows for November, starting with Bristol on the 7th, followed by Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Oxford and London on 16th (on sale now).

Tickets on sale now, priced from £25 upwards. Newcastle - Tickets on sale now.

Earlier in the year, you can catch Gary Numan at The Playground Festival 2013 - he will appear on Saturday 8th June alongside other electro luminaries such as Squarepusher, John Foxx and Derrick May. It's a cracking festival, spread across two days at Brixton's O2 Academy and tickets cost £35 per day (limited Early Bird price).
