The Really Useful Group and AEG Live, the organisers of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's legendary rock classic Jesus Christ Superstar, have regrettably announced that the UK arena dates originally planned for March 2013 have to be rescheduled to October. This is due to the enormous demand across the Globe with tours in Australia, Europe and USA to be announced soon.

All tickets remain valid for the rescheduled shows with refunds available at point of purchase for those who cannot make it for the new dates.

There is some good news for Leeds and Glasgow fans as two additional dates have also been added to the previously announced cities - 1st October at The Hydro in Glasgow and 4th October at Leeds Arena. Tickets on sale now for the added shows; there are still some tickets available for the rescheduled dates.

The news isn't quite so great across the Irish sea, though, where both the Belfast and Dublin dates (originally for 19th and 21st March) have now been cancelled, since the promoters were unable to reschedule.

The show features award-winning Tim Minchin as 'Judas Iscariot', Spice Girl Melanie C as 'Mary Magdalene', Chris Moyles as 'King Herod' and Winner of ITV's Superstar Ben Forster as 'Jesus'. Due to popular demand, after receiving overwhelming praise from both audiences and critics alike, the show returns with stops at major cities across the UK.
