Just a couple of weeks ago, we told you about the upcoming and rather massive UK and Ireland tour from pop-superstar Beyoncé. Her Mrs Carter Show is due to touch down on these shores during the spring, visiting several cities in the process.

Due to unprecedented interest in the lead-up to the onsale date, she's confirmed another two extra shows to help stem the tide of eager buyers. The new shows are in Birmingham on 27th April (to go with one on the 26th) and Manchester on 8th May (to go with the one on the 7th) with both going on sale with the previously-announced London O2 Arena shows on 29th and 30th April and 1st and 3rd May.

Tickets on sale now, priced from £55.00 - £85.00.

NB - her two Dublin shows on 11th and 12th May have already sold out of face-value tickets, although Premiums are available at higher prices.

Over the last ten years or so, Beyoncé has been busy gathering up awards and accolades such as over a dozen Grammys, six of them in one sitting (2010 - most Grammy Awards won by a female artist in one night). Having endorsed some of the biggest brand names in the world such as L'Oréal, Pepsi, Tommy Hilfiger, etc (we're working on it, ha ha) and marrying Jay-Z (who isn't short of a few hard-earned gongs himself), Beyoncé Knowles-Carter pretty much has it all, including President Obama's blessing to 'croon' the American National Anthem second inauguration this year (not for the first time either - she sang at his inaugural Neighbourhood Ball in 2011).

Her last album "4" reached #1 in five countries.
