It's been a while since Muse played a venue as "small" as the Shepherd's Bush Empire, but play there they will as part of the annual Brit Awards War Child fundraiser.
Nominated in two categories at this year's awards ceremony ('British Group' and 'British Live Act') - having already nabbed four awards in previous years, the trio will play two days prior to the ceremony itself, on Monday 18th February. You can catch the band ahead of their summer UK stadium tour (and their stint at the Brit awards ceremony itself) at this relatively intimate night, with tickets on sale now, costing £50 - and 100% of that money going to the brilliant cause that is War Child. Guests to be announced. Expect absolutely massive demand!
2013 represents the 20th anniversary for War Child, with the Brit Awards marking that achievement with a 'Special Recognition' award this year. In those twenty years, War Child has help save the lives of over 800,000 children in the world's most war-torn countries, including Bosnia, Chechnya, Rwanda, Afghanistan, Iraq and the Democratic Republic of Congo - amongst others.
