The xx announce 2013 Night and Day open-air concert for Osterley Park

Duo follow-up Coexist with series of curated European outdoor shows next summer, tickets on sale Friday 14th December
Having resided there for a few years, I can categorically say nothing much happens in West London beyond zone 3, least of all big music events like this one. But next summer, The xx are heading to the area for one of three very special outdoor concerts.
Billed as Night + Day, the band themselves will act as curators for the event which will feature music during the day and night, as well as a sub-festival atmosphere with food and stalls. And their chosen bit of West London is Osterley Park in Isleworth, a fantastic open-space, manor-house and historical woodland just south of the M4. Aside from appearing in the film for "Band on the Run" by Paul McCartney's Wings, Osterley Park hasn't previously hosted an all-day rock concert, per se, so this is a real treat for music and nature fans alike.
The all-dayer will take place on 23rd June 2013 and will feature special guests to be announced in due course. We will have tickets on sale from 9am Friday 14th December with prices starting from £48.50 upwards. The xx are bound to curate an interesting day and will showcase tracks from their own albums, including this year's chart-topping "Coexist" album.
As soon as the line-up is announced, we will let you know!
