Million-selling singer will mix greatest hits with stage favourites, tickets on sale Friday 30th November
Michael Ball

Prominent in the art of musicals since the mid-'80s, Michael Ball's bow has many more strings than just Aspects of Love, the production that elevated him into the public spotlight. Sure, the singer has performed in other musicals, but they've been a more varied selection of shows than most performers might have dared to attempt.

Compare and contrast Les Miserables, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Hairspray (as Edna Turnblad) and Sweeney Todd (as the murderous barber). On anyone's CV, that would spell 'versatile'. It's hard to believe that Ball suffered acute stage-fright at an early age - now you can't keep him off it. Encouragement and love, has indeed, changed everything.

As well as theatre, Ball has also presented TV shows such as the National Lottery, Children in Need and judged on a few talent shows including Dancing on Ice. Whether Michael intends to include all aspects of his entire career on his upcoming 2013 UK tour, remains to be seen - we do know that singing two sets for the price of one will be part of it (not too sure if the ice skating will feature - probably not).

His new studio album "Both Sides Now", the follow up to 2011's "Heroes", will appear next year at some point and will include versions of his biggest hits from both his recorded and stage careers. The concept will be repeated for his UK tour which starts in Ipswich on 15th April 2013, followed by Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Sheffield and many more across the UK until Portsmouth on 10th May. There is a London show included - Hammersmith Apollo on 4th May.

We will have tickets to all shows from 9am Friday 30th November with prices from £37.50 upwards. There will also be special Meet-and-Greet packages available for each night (limited availability).
