Black Rebel Motorcycle Club rev up for spring 2013 UK tour

Posted: 11 years ago
New album and string of British shows marks first activity for three years. Tickets on sale Wednesday 21st November

Never mind the unlucky connotations of having the number 13 in a year, next year is set to be a lucky time for music fans with several other bands announcing tours or appearing at festivals - BRMC are no exception.

Named after a bikers gang in the classic '50s Brando/ Marvin vehicle "The Wild One" and now with new established drummer Leah Shapiro installed full-time, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club will be strapping on their leathers once more for a UK tour in support of the release of their still-being-recorded seventh albums. It'll be their first British gigs since the tail-end of 2010 when the band toured "Beat The Devil's Tattoo", a studio-collection that went some way to returning the band to the mainstream after years spent wrangling with big bad major-labels. Songs from hit-albums "Howl" and the apt "Take Them On, On Your Own" still pepper their explosive live sets - but it will be new songs making an appearance on this return to our shores! Their new album, as-yet-untitled, will see the light of day during the spring.

BRMC will also hit the UK during the spring with the first port of call being Manchester on 24th March 2013, followed by Glasgow, Birmingham, Brixton, Nottingham and finally Leeds on the 30th. We will have tickets to all these shows from 9am on Wednesday 21st November with prices starting at £19.50 and rising to £22.50 for the London show. Demand will be high - Black Rebel Motorcycle Club are as tight a trio as you could wish for.
