Manic Street Preachers

In 1992, a trio of angry Welsh rockers stormed the music-scene with a debut so visceral and so powerful, it makes today's heavily-branded guitar-bands a bit of a laughing stock. Containing eighteen tracks, Generation Terrorists appeared to huge anticipation in early 1992 - it featured several singles such as "Slash 'n' Burn", "You Love Us", "Stay Beautiful" and the epic "Motorcycle Emptiness", as well as belters such as the banker-bashing "Nat West-Barclays-Midlands-Lloyds".

Three lucky winners have won a copy of the standard CD reissue, released last week and currently sitting pretty glammed-up at #48 on the UK albums chart.

Step forward Eve Lewis from Bristol, Chris Garbutt on Jersey and Lynsey Thomas in Sheffield - you've got some blisteringly good music coming your way very soon.

Manic Street Preachers are currently piecing together their eleventh studio-album - keep em peeled on this site for any live news.
