The Gaslight Anthem

There's a saying that goes, quite simply: "you live and learn", which is something that The Gaslight Anthem have very wisely applied to their latest tour announcement. Earlier in 2012, Brian Fallon and the boys had to add shows to keep up with demand but, for 2013's swathe of shows, they've gone steaming-in with a few double-headers.

The new UK tour is a precursor to one of the biggest festival appearances ever embarked upon by The Gaslight Anthem - in a word, Download 2013. As a certain Gregg Wallace might proclaim, "festivals don't get tougher than this!". The headlining shows begin in Bristol for two nights, 21st and 22nd March, before heading off to Leeds on 23rd March, two in Glasgow, then two nights in Manchester and two at London's Troxy at the end of the month. No messing about, exactly how it should be done.

We will have tickets for all shows on sale at 9am on Friday 16th November, with prices starting from £21.50 and rising to £23.50 for London.

Recent album "Handwritten" has already left its signature (sorry) on the UK album charts by romping home to number 2, beaten to the top spot by Plan B's "Ill Manors" but ousting Maroon 5's bland-o-rama "Overexposed" from its perch in the process.

The Gaslight Anthem's appearance at Download will be, at some point, during the weekend from 14th to 16th June - tickets for Download 2013 are available to buy from us now at £165 - £195.
