Foals

Foals eh? They're like buses, taxis and scandals - you don't see or hear a peep out of them for ages then they all come along at once. Only a week or so ago we told you about their full-scale UK and Ireland tour next year!

Dublin will be the first stop on 28th February 2013, followed by Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and many more until rounding off the tour in Portsmouth on 13th March. The live action continues on 28th March in London at the Royal Albert Hall - but, like the November tour - that one sold out within twenty minutes, according to the band.

We suggested the blighters might like to add another show if they thought they were hard enough. They're hard enough - they've not only added a new show, they've added in a matinee on the same day, the crazy Foals.

Roughly translated, the band will be performing two shows at the Royal Albert Hall on 28th March, the earliest of which will go on sale at 9.30am on Friday 30th November. The matinee will begin at around 3pm and support for this (and the sold out evening show) will come from the ace Efterklang.

As well as the shows, new album "Holy Fire" will make its long-awaited appearance in February, just two months after the aforementioned 2012 tour ends. If you still want tickets to join Foals (and supports Petite Noir and Trophy Wife [UK]) trot around the UK in the coming weeks, you'll be lucky to get tickets as the 2012 dates have long-since sold out.

It will come as no surprise to learn that tickets for the 2013 tour are selling fast - Leeds has already sold out.
