Brandon's Battle Born behemoths brace themselves for busy year, tickets on sale Friday 16th November
The Killers

This year will certainly go down as the year that The Killers came back. Not that they've needed to recover, reform or retrace their steps, you understand, but after selling out pretty much every tour show, tour date and festival appearance in 2012, Brandon Flowers and his charges must feel mighty pleased with themselves. V Festival and iTunes Festival goers might know what I mean - you'll feel pretty smug at seeing one of the biggest bands in the world.

Oh and four number 1 albums in a row, anybody? "Battle Born" made it a quartet of back-to-back album chart-toppers in September. They have a new single, "Miss Atomic Bomb", out now and, lo-and-behold, they're heading back to the UK next summer as well.

On the second-longest day of the year, 22nd June 2013, The Killers will (hopefully) duel with the sunset across North London as they head up a massive show at Wembley Stadium. Guests have yet to be announced, but tickets have already been priced keenly at £35 upwards. We will have these on sale from 9am on Friday 16th November - you'd better be ready.

As for The Killers' shows this year and into the early part of next year? Their tour with Tegan and Sara has completely sold out, apart from Premium tickets which are on sale now from around £45 upwards. Don't be too despondent though - the band may well be performing more shows in the UK in due course - watch this space!
