Win a copy of Andrea Bocelli's new 'Opera' CD

Posted: 11 years ago
We have five copies of the Italian tenor's latest stunning compilation
Andrea Bocelli

This week, multi-award winning, platinum-selling Italian tenor master Andrea Bocelli will be in concert throughout the UK, performing to packed and sold-out arenas in Belfast, Birmingham and London (there are a few O2 Arena seats left for 14th Nov at £65 and 15th priced from £90).

But if you can't make it to one of Bocelli's concerts, you can console yourself with recordings of the singer's works. But where to start? A swift glance through his discography throws up dozens of choices, from his rare 1994 debut album "Il Mare Calmo Della Sera" and first crossover success "Sogno" to his more traditional classical albums such as 2001's "Sentimento".

As a follow-up to his first compilation album "Romanza", issued in 1997, "Opera" is as good a place as any to begin. With 80 million sales and an enviable opera canon to choose from, the album-compilers have worked with the blind tenor to select his favourite arias from his extensive career. Familiar classics include Bocelli performing extracts of Puccini's "La Boheme", "Il Trovadore" and "Turandot", Verdi's "La Traviata" and Mascagni's sumptuous "Cavalleria Rusticana".

Of course you could buy it for the opera fan in your life for Christmas - or you could WIN ONE!

We have five copies of Andrea Bocelli's "Opera" CD to give away - all you have to do is click on the Enter Competition button below and follow the dead easy instructions. It won't take you more than a minute to do and you could soon be filling your house with the exquisite sounds of Italian opera.

The competition is open to UK and Ireland residents only and must close on Sunday 18th November 2012 at midnight!
