Award-winning singer-songwriter returns with acoustic shows as follow-up to Christmas concerts, tickets on sale now
Nerina Pallot

For the past decade and a bit, Scottish chanteuse Nerina Pallot has been quietly going about the heady business of shifting a fair number of her albums, singles and tickets without a huge fanfare or tiresome scantily-clad antics. Unless you have something to tell us, eh Nerina?

No, the established platinum-selling, award-nominated songwriter has not only been shaping her own career with her self-penned and well-received tunes, she's helped out on the odd superstar along the way. Kylie Minogue is not a bad contact to have when the chips are down - she and husband Andy co-wrote the title-track for the Aussie's 2010 album "Aphrodite" and the single "Better Than Today".

After scoring hit-albums with "Dear Frustrated Superstar" (minor success, needed a reissue), "Fires" (big success, hit-singles such as "Everybody's Gone To War" and "Sophia") and "The Graduate" (sort of did OK), Pallot's muse returned with a vengeance on 2011's "Year of the Wolf", proving she's got legs. For the tail-end of 2012 and the first chunk of next year, you'll get a chance to see what else she's got in her arsenal (her team - no-one's perfect).

February 2013 will herald a solo Nerina Pallot jaunt, starting in Newbury on the 8th and followed by Bristol, London, Manchester, Stockton and Birmingham. We have tickets to these acoustic Lonely Valentine Club shows, priced at around £15. After these, there's a real treat for South West Pallot fans - she is appearing at the iconic open-air Minack Theatre near Penzance on 15th May - tickets for that weigh in at £17.50.

Prior to 2013 and in the run up to Christmas, Nerina will appear at Yorkshire's Nunnington Hall on 8th and 9th December and Notting Hill's Tabernacle on the 15th - these shows are available from the venues.
