Tours

Frank Turner

Armed with his Sleeping Souls band, Turner will be setting off for a full UK tour from Sunday night (11th Nov) until Christmas when he'll end up at the O2 Arena on the 20th with The Pogues. Margate, Truro and the Scottish shows still have tickets from £16, while the London show is £32.50.

Brian May

Joining the Queen guitarist for an acoustic UK tour is songwriter Kerry Ellis. The whole Born Free jaunt starts in Bury St.Edmunds on Monday night and this and many others are sold out. Only Brighton, London and St Albans remain - £37.50 to £39.50.

Bellowhead

Now with a Top 50 album under their belts, the exciting steam-folk outfit are touring the UK from next Tuesday, starting in Wolverhampton and continuing throughout November until 24th in Derby. Leamington, Bristol and Salford are sold out, the rest are from £18.

Rock Sound Riot 2012 is headed-up by Billy Talent, featuring Don Broco and AWOLNATION. The tour begins in Manchester on Tuesday night and somewhat surprisingly, there are still tickets left for all dates, including London and Manchester, priced at £16 - £18.50.

Coheed and Cambria

All of C&C's forthcoming shows are available, including the first stop on their UK tour in London and the last bargain-priced show in Bournemouth on 13th November where tickets cost just £5 for Feed The Rhino and Black Spiders on the bill.

Motörhead

There are only two shows on Motorhead and Anthrax's upcoming tour available and these are Portsmouth and Bournemouth on 14th and 15th November. Prices start at £27 for these, while the others have completely sold out or have Premiums only.

Architects

As well as their slot at the sold-out Vans Warped Tour 2012 show in London on Saturday, Archiects, with Deez Nuts, Bury Tomorrow and The Acacia Strain, will be touring from Southampton on Friday until Norwich on 17th. Priced from £15.

The Overtones

Next Friday, the ex-painters and decorators turned revivalist '50s harmony group The Overtones will hit the road for a lengthy tour. Many shows are sold out of best seats, but a few remain in Edinburgh, Cork, Carlisle etc until Plymouth in December. From £19.50.

Spear of Destiny's Cardiff show has now moved to 21st November (with the Swansea show now cancelled). Other than this change, the rest of the tour continues as normal with tickets for all shows up for £12. The band are also supporting Stiff Little Fingers during November.

Slade

Two of the biggest names in '70s glam-rock (the other being Sweet) will join forces for a UK tour next week, with Folkestone the first stop on Wednesday night. All of the dates are available from £23.50 to £29.50.

London Jazz Festival 2012

Perhaps the largest annual jazz gathering of the year, with many concerts now sold out. You can still see Ambrose Akinmusire and Sophie Hunger on Friday, plus Lucinda Williams, Bill Frisell and Herbie Hancock throughout the season.

Theatre, Comedy and Arts

The Bodyguard

Some performances are almost sold out for this remake of the million-selling film from the '80s, playing at the Adelphi Theatre, London from Tuesday until April 2013. Ticket prices vary from £20 to £57.50 with a few early shows already sold out of Stalls.

Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat

The popular family musical will embark on a UK tour from Tuesday night with Keith Jack (runner-up on TV's Any Dream Will Do) in the leading role. York is the first stop, followed by Edinburgh this year and Aylesbury and Sunderland in 2013.

Rosas

Sadler's Wells will present a rare four-night performance by the Flemish dance company Rosas, performing 'En Attendant'. Tickets are available for all shows from Monday until Friday, priced at £20 - £27.
