Gary Barlow to take 'In Concert' shows on full 2012 UK and Ireland tour

Award-winning songwriter follows Diamond Jubilee triumph with extensive winter jaunt, tickets on sale Friday 19th October

Currently, Gary Barlow is best known for wielding the critical axe on X Factor as one of the show's judges. However, the Take That singer's star has been burning VERY brightly in one particular household this year - the Windsor's. After being chosen to co-write an official Diamond Jubilee song ("Sing") with Andrew Lloyd-Webber earlier this year, Barlow's tenure as the UK's leading songwriter was regained when the aforementioned song swept all contenders aside and leapt to #1.

In amongst the tireless charity work, the TV appearances and the extra-curricular recording sessions (he's just been chosen to appear on the remake album of "War of the Worlds", for example), Gary Barlow's main satisfaction is derived from performing live, something he last did at the tail end of last year at the Royal Albert Hall. These were his first headlining solo performances for over a decade, although it seems he's not prepared to wait that long again. He's just announced a full UK and Ireland tour!

The new 'In Concert' tour will take place throughout the autumn and winter, starting in Bournemouth on 13th November 2012, continuing to Plymouth, Edinburgh, Nottingham, London (the Royal Albert Hall again) and more until taking a festive break (or working on X Factor) through 'til Newcastle on 28th December. More shows are confirmed for 2013 with the tour currently scheduled to end in Dublin on the 7th and Belfast on 8th January.

We will have tickets on sale from 10am Friday 19th October, with prices ranging from around £38 - £60.

The 'In Concert' format will include, not only his own solo work but also plenty of Take That classics throughout. Prepare for one almighty dash for tickets.
