New album awaits as band include two hometown shows and huge London show in spring jaunt, on sale now/Friday 23rd November
Stornoway

Recently, Oxford's Stornoway announced TWO hometown shows for early next year with both confirmed to be played at the Oxford Town Hall on 14th and 15th February 2013. The concerts will feature selections from the new album and will herald the start of busy activity for the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 'Beachcomber's Windowsill'. That activity has just become all the more apparent now that Stornoway have just unveiled a string of spring shows.

February sees the band visit Middlesbrough on the 10th, followed by Gateshead and those two Oxford shows, while March hots up with shows from Liverpool on the 11th, right through to what might be Stornoway's biggest show to date at the HMV Forum in North London on 27th March 2013.

We have tickets for all shows on sale now, except for Bath and London, both of which will be available from 9am Friday 23rd November. Prices average at around £13.50.

2010's slow-burning debut-album, 'Beachcomber's Windowsill', fared considerably better than aces singles ' I Saw You Blink' and 'Zorbing' - most bands would be happy with hitting the Top 20 with anything half as decent. Songs such as the singles, 'Fuel Up' and 'Long-Distance Lullaby' still have an elegiac, olde-worlde charm about them - will their new material carry on in the same vein? You won't have much longer to find out...their new album is out in 2013.
